‘Q’s and ‘A’s.

Hello! I am answering the thoughtful award questions in this post.

It is a way of exploring more about myself and being more open. I will pick 5 questions from every nomination and will answer them honestly.

Questions by Benjamin Grossman.

#1 Do you prefer falling or landing?

Falling.
I like adventure sports, and want to skydive at least once, so I prefer falling. Also, Falling has a sense of rush of emotions, usually I like to calm my mind and spirit, but I do enjoy a good rush of emotions or adrenaline.

#2 Did you like reading when you were young?

Yes.
I liked reading but it was limited to reading on Science and Literature that was a part of our school syllabus. I was not exposed to reading books and materials outside the school stuff, although now I think that I should have explored reading beyond the syllabus.

#3 What would you tell your younger self … if anything?

Bro, socialize, learn, and play more.
People are not judging you as much as you think, they too are like you and are trying to learn and navigate through life. Also, try to watch lesser TV and read more, lol. And learn from people smarter than you.

#4 Anything you care to share with the blogging world that you haven’t told already?

My posts are my real life experiments with growth, life, and with self discovery.
I believe in growing as a human and gaining more knowledge, to discover beyond what meets the eye. And that process of growth is what I intend to share via my blog.

#5 Tell us your favorite place to travel or the place you hope to travel to next?

Switzerland.
I think its one of the most common travel destinations, given the neatness of the country, and the breathtaking pictures of the swiss mountains we find online.

Questions by Anshda Raj.

#1 What got you into blogging?

The habit of writing a lot.
All the things that I post, I used to experiment in my life and write what I learn in various incoherent thoughts. And some of what I learn I wanted to share with others who are on a similar learning path. By sharing the thoughts online, I make sure that they are coherent, they make sense, and that they are of value. And this in turn helps me understand the strategy better.

#2 Your favorite singer?

Its a band based in India called The Local Train.
I first heard them in college, was skeptical at first, But on attending one of their concerts, I enjoyed their vibe a lot, and since then I listen to them. I also like Ed Sheeran, Prateek Kuhad, Post malone, Lana Del Rey, and Queen.

#3 If you could, what would you change in the world?

The mindset of our people.
If we change the mindset of millions of people who rebel and fight in the name race, religion, country, but fight really for money, power, resources, and control, to something that of people who like to learn and grow via co-operating and who value nature and tech advancement equally, then the world would be a much better place.

#4 What is one thing you would do differently from your parents/ guardians when you have children?

Expose them to skills and interests outside of what school teaches.
I wish I had explored more of life since a young age, although I did try to explore as many things as possible. I never took a professional approach to most of them.

#5 What did you wish to become when you were a child?

A scientist or an astronaut.
I loved science when I was young, I still do. And who doesn’t want to be an astronaut?

Questions by Seli.

#1 Describe yourself in 5 words?

Open minded (Creative), Conscientious (Long term goals > short term benefit) , Introverted (low extroversion), Agreeable (tend to co-operate than compete), Calm (I don’t worry much).
This is a reliable info, as it is a part of a test backed by psychology (OCEAN test). You guys should also check it out, its quite interesting.

#2 Which is your Favorite movie and why?

Inception.
There are many movies that I like, but whenever asked, I think first of this. I liked it because of the new and extremely creative take on making movies. The concept of dream within a dream, the philosophical and the psychological encounters in the movie, and the flawless acting and breathtaking visuals. A complete movie.

#3 Your best way of passing time?

Writing, reading, working out, listening to podcasts, YouTube, and watching TV shows (or office Bloopers).

#4 Is blogging a profession or a hobby for you?

Hobby.
Its a hobby, but I am learning the skills of communication and writing via blogging, which can be considered both as a personal and a professional skill.

#5 What activities inspire you to feel like you’re living your life to the fullest?

Traveling, Adventure Sports, Deep discussions (philosophy/science/future/psychology), Personal Growth activities (meditation/working out), and reading & writing.

  2. I enjoyed reading your answers. It’s true that our reading isn’t as expansive as we go through school. During this lockdown I have had the opportunity to read mind opening books and learn more about the world.
